To waft, or as Shorter Oxford Dictionary states, 'to pass gently through the air', perfectly encapsulates the driving environ of the Shadow II.

I've always loved them, seeing them as part of an era of elegance that really doesn't exist nowadays with the onset of modern offerings from Goodwood....of course a personal opinion, but I defy anybody not to be mightily impressed when sat & driven in such a car, as certainly its offers a real sense of occasion.

This rather lovely 1978 car supplied via Heron Rossleigh of Edinburgh is with out doubt a cut above the rest...really top draw Shadow's are becoming increasingly rare but this example ticks pretty much all the boxes, from super low mileage, fabulous colour scheme and offering an almost perfect service history.

Lets elaborate a little further on these individual points.

The mileage is a smidgeon over 67,6500 and is fully verified via the cars service records; there's stamped service books plus substantial invoices from known R-R official service agents & known specialists throughout its life.

Infact, we first maintained it back in 2013, it then went across to West Hoathly Garage for a number of years and then more recently returned to us.

The exterior colours of College Blue over Colbalt is certainly one of the two tone exterior colour schemes I've seen and and contrast perfectly with the grey leather interior.

In fact the car was subject to a £14,507 bare metal respray by HRO back in 1998 and as you can see from the photographs remains is superb condition throughout.

There are some nice factory options which seem today of little merit but back in 1978, epitomised complete luxury....these extend to front & rear head rests, internally adjustable passenger mirror and rear safety belts.

A large history file accompanies the car with original factory order paper work intact, along with a correct wallet plus owners handbook.

With a large pre-sale inspection and service last month, its completely on the button.
