Some thoughts on this model
This 1973 Dodge Charger Rallye 440 spent its entire life in Santa Anna, CA until 2002, when it went West to Ohio, where it under went an extensive restoration.
New Banana Yellow paint with black stripes and Rallye wheels finish the exterior, whilst inside is black vinyl updated with new Legendary seat covers, headlining and carpets, plus both front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed.
This mammoth engine has unsurprisingly a massive specification; a 440 big block (matching numbers) is twinned with a 3 speed 727 transmission, both were completely rebuilt. The engine has new bearings, rings, Mopar Performance street hemi cam and lifters. Additionally, the heads were redone with a 3 angle valve job, new valve springs and seals, plus this Charger has new a mopar performance dual plane intake and finally both a Carter 600 cfm-carb and fuel pump.
Brakes, front suspension components and dual exhausts are all clear coated or painted in original colour. Undercarriage and floor plans are all original and untouched.
An unbelievable specification - there's the photo of the options coding under the bonnet and I have the complete list but it's too extensive to list here! This Charger is absolutely as it left the factory, none of the stripes or bonnet pins are add-ons, they are all original as per its option list.
An unadulterated example of an 1970's American muscle car with an exhaust note to die for!
