Some thoughts on this model
Finished traditionally here in Midnight Blue metallic together with a navy blue mohair hood plus the appealing option of Winter Wheat leather interior, thus helping make the interior feel brighter and more spacious than the usual dark interiors nowadays.
Do not forget that this new generation of DB9 shared very little with its predecessor (pre 2012 model year), all new body panels and complete overhaul in styling, uprated performance from the naturally aspirated 6Ltr V12 - 510bhp.
The new DB9 was substantially updated in terms of its specification and improvements, so much so, it had more in common with the outgoing DBS, the model that had previously been Aston Martins flagship.
Aston Martin during this period did their best to confuse all and sundry with a couple of models bearing similar DNA, so for sake of clarity here, in 2012 the original DB9 was dropped in favour of the all new Virage, which in turn ran for roughly a year, then being superceded by this car on offer here, the all new version of the DB9.
A huge improvement, actually, leaps ahead of the original DB9 in every sense and certainly a truly super GT in the traditional sense, making trans-European journeying both exhilarating and comfortable. Wanting for nothing as recently serviced by AM main dealer and ready to be enjoyed come rain or shine.
