Some thoughts on this model
Its all new platform incorporating its 'VH' (vertical/horizontal) architecture meant that it weighed-in 25% less than that of the DB7 but also incredibly, transformed the rigidity, handling and performance, courtesy of the 50/50 weight distribution between the all alloy V12 and the rear mounted gearbox.
The model's instant popularity gave Aston Martin much needed revenue and arguably for the first time a successful and sustainable second hand market - today you will find a host of cars available but it is imperative that your search is driven by both specification, condition and a most importantly, a main dealer history.
This car ticks all the boxes....the midnight blue paintwork is excellent, its caspian blue interior benefits from the numerous upgrades made for the 2007 model year and significantly, there are 10 Aston Martin main dealer stamps in the service book, including one from September this year.
Competitively priced in the current market but certainly not remotely average in terms of condition or its upkeep.....buy this or a mundane Golf GTi for perhaps more !!.
It would be a pleasure to answer any further questions you might have. This flawless Aston Martin can be inspected at my Guildford showroom - please call Julien Sumner on +44(0)7788 865700
